eTherapy?

eTherapy is a relatively new phenomenon in which mental health services are offered online. This provides for the utmost private and convenient therapy. However, at the same time, it limits the potential benefits of therapy in that there is a greater chance for miscommunication due to the lack of verbal communication. Also, non-verbal behavior is next to impossible to assess behind a monitor. Nevertheless, the eTherapy phenomenon is catching on rather quickly, and this here blog is designed to document its rise (or fall?) in our ever-privatizing and convenience-obsessed society.
